AJR, the indie pop band known for their unique sound, is all about three brothers: Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met.

Formed in 2005, they honed their craft on the streets of New York City, busking and singing covers. Their early sound drew from a wide range of artists, from Fun. to Vampire Weekend. A video of them performing caught the attention of Sia Furler’s manager, leading them to connect with a music industry veteran. Their breakthrough came with the single “I’m Ready” in 2015, which gained traction on social media and with music publications.

The catchy single “Weak” in 2016 solidified their popularity, achieving platinum status in several countries. They’ve released four studio albums, all reaching the Billboard 200 Top 40 chart, with two hitting the Top 10: “Neotheater” (2019) and “OK Orchestra” (2021). Their first and only Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, “Bang!”, came from “OK Orchestra” and earned them a Billboard Music Award. By 2023, they had impressive sales figures, exceeding eleven million digital singles in the US alone.

Their latest album, “The Maybe Man,” was released in 2023. There isn’t any major news hitting headlines right now, but they might be touring or working on new music. Their social media channels would be the best place to stay updated.
