Audacy’s Mix 96.5 (KHMX-FM) in Houston took home three awards at OutSmart Magazine’s 27th Annual Gayest & Greatest Readers’ Choice Awards. Almost 100,000 votes were cast by the magazine’s readers and Mix 96.5 won in multiple categories.
Jessie Watt won Favorite Female Commercial-Radio Personality. Jay Michaels won Best Local LGBTQ Social Media Presence and tied for Favorite Male Commercial-Radio Personality. Michaels is also the first radio personality in the market to be nominated for non radio categories.
