iHeartMedia Albany today announced the impending departure of Kelly Lynch from WGY’s popular morning show “Doug and Kelly.” Her last day will be Friday, September 3.
After more than ten years hosting the morning show on WGY with Chuck Custer and more recently Doug Goudie, Lynch will be embarking on a new career outside of the broadcast industry. During her time at WGY, WGY AM/FM is the leading media outlet in the Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY market with multiple platforms, including its broadcast stations, live events, data and its digital businesses and platforms, including mobile, social and its own iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s free all-in-one digital music, podcasting and live streaming radio service – with 3 billion app downloads and more than 150 million registered users
