iHeartMedia Dallas Appoints Zann Fredlund as Mix 102.9 Program Director

iHeartMedia announced today that Zann Fredlund has been named Program Director for iHeartMedia Dallas’ The New MIX 102.9, music from the 2000’s to today, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Dallas has a strong cross-platform presence that includes eight iconic stations — both broadcast and digital — comprised of music, talk and news formats. 

As Program Director, Zann Fredlund will be responsible for managing a talented team, curating engaging content, orchestrating the tone and programming to elevate MIX 102.9’s online presence. She will report to Marc Sherman, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Texas/Louisiana.

“Zann’s passion, creativity and deep understanding of our audience makes her the perfect fit for this role,” said Marc Sherman, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Texas/Louisiana. “Her proven leadership and innovative approach will undoubtedly drive the station’s success to new heights.”

In addition to her new role as Program Director for The New Mix 102.9, Zann will continue to serve as the Program Director for iHeartMedia Central Texas’ KHFI-FM. She began her career at Wired 96.5 in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Temple University.
