In celebration of International Women's Day, iHeartMedia is broadcasting a special iHeartRadio Communities Show on March 8 and 9 spotlighting four remarkable women of iHeartMedia from various fields around the company: Angela Yee – award-winning media personality and host of the nationally-syndicated iHeartMedia broadcast radio show “Way Up with Angela Yee,” Eileen Woodbury – Vice President of Marketing at iHeartMedia Los Angeles, Sarah Spain – Emmy and Peabody award-winning journalist and host of iHeart Women's Sports “Good Game” podcast and Jessica Marventano – Executive Vice Present of Government Affairs.
The 30-minute special will air on iHeartRadio stations nationwide throughout Saturday and Sunday and also listeners can tune in on the free iHeartRadio app here.
Conducting these insightful interviews are four iHeart 24/7 anchors: Debra Mark from KFI AM 640 in Los Angeles, Nathalie Rodriguez and Erica Rodriguez from NewsRadio WIOD in Miami and Kathy Walker from KOA 850 AM in Denver.
The show will bring listeners into these inspiring women's personal and professional journeys, exploring varied topics including why they chose their respective fields, their experiences with significant events, the importance of community and the women in the audio industry who have inspired them.
