In Loving Memory of Kevin Chisholm

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kevin Chisholm, a respected figure in the music industry, known for his impactful role as the former Tour Director/Manager of legendary guitarist Carlos Santana and prior as the former Production Manager for Bill Graham Presents. Kevin passed away on August 10th, leaving behind a legacy marked by his passion for music and unwavering dedication to the artists he represented.

Born on January 20, 1953 in New York, Kevin developed a love for music early in life and pursued a career that would see him at the forefront of live entertainment. His journey began with Bill Graham Presents in 1977, where he managed the production of countless unforgettable concerts in San Francisco at legendary venues including The Old Waldorf, Wolfgangs, The Fillmore and Kabuki Theatre. His expertise and attention to detail became the hallmark of his work, earning him the respect of his peers and admiration from artists alike.

Kevin’s professional journey took a pivotal turn when he started working for Carlos and Deborah Santana in 1985. In his role, he not only helped guide Santana’s career through various tours and album releases but also fostered a deep personal connection that underscored the partnership with Carlos and Deborah.

Kevin is survived by his son, Ryan and his wife Lisa, daughters Junnifer and Nicole, grandchildren, Emilio, Emily, Miguel, Kimmy, Carmen, Ashton, Hank and James, brothers Charlie, Peter, David and sister, Casey along with a wide array of family, friends, colleagues, and admirers who will miss his kindness and dedication. A memorial service will be held at a later date, where all who knew and loved Kevin are invited to celebrate his extraordinary life and contributions to the music world.

Kevin Chisholm’s impact on the music industry and the lives he touched will be felt for years to come. May he rest in peace, knowing his legacy will live on through the music he helped create and the countless hearts he inspired.
