Next generation web3 record label and artist advocates Nvak Collective has named veteran music industry executive Nikisha Bailey General Manager for the company’s diverse and innovative roster of creatives, overseeing and facilitating A&R, marketing and label operations, according to co-founders Tamar Kaprelian and Alex Salibian.

With an influence that transcends music to culture, the St. Louis native also serves as Vice President for The Recording Academy’s New York Chapter and is an Ambassador for the Black Music Collective (BMC). She also owns one of Philadelphia’s renowned coffee brands and community space, W/N W/N Coffee Bar, and serves as co-chair on Women In Music’s Diversity and Inclusion Council. Nikisha was recently a recipient of Urban SkinRX’s Community Changemaker Award, listed on Forbes’ Next 1000 list and slated as a Billboard Power Player in 2020 and 2021. Bailey kicked off her career as an intern at Atlantic Records before rising to Head of A&R Administration, Artist Partners with the label, working on key records for talent such as Kehlani, Charlie Puth and Bazzi among many others. She also held the role of VP of A & R Administration and Operations for the Los Angeles-based Artist Partner Group (APG). As an example of Nvak Collective’s forward-thinking projects, Los Angeles-based 20-year-old singer/songwriter Annika Rose recently released a limited edition of 50 audio NFTs ahead of her single, “In My Head,” in collaboration with HIFI Labs and Cub3, available on Sound.xyz after selling out all 25 NFTs of her previous single, “Bruises.” Another rising star on the label, 21-year-old Armenian singer Rosa Linn, signed a first-of-its-kind joint venture with Columbia Records, building on her U.K. success with the single “SNAP,” co-written by Nvak Collective’s Kaprelian and Salibian.
