Gabito Ballesteros, Alejandro Buelna, Tyan G and newcomer Delilah among the artists on the Los CT roster
Interscope announced today a partnership with Natanael Cano’s label, Los CT, providing acclaimed and successful artists such as Gabito Ballesteros, Alejandro Buelna, Tyan G, Amilkar Galaviz, Luis Castillo, Nueva Era, Cocho, Herencia LP and the buzzed-about newcomer Delilah a new home at Interscope.
In 2019, Cano pioneered the era of corridos tumbados – an amalgamation of Mexican corridos with trap-infused sounds within traditional regional Mexican music – with his breakthrough set Corridos Tumbados, spending 31 weeks at No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart.
Cano and his longtime manager and business partner, Ramon Emilio Hernandez, launched Los CT in 2022 as an opportunity to further broaden the Mexican music style he’s been actively internationalizing.
The label’s star-studded roster includes singer-songwriter Gabito Ballesteros, who made waves with the chart-topping single “AMG” alongside Natanael Cano and Peso Pluma, which peaked at No. 37 on the Billboard 100.
Following a string of hits such as “LADY GAGA” and “El Tsurito,” both in collaboration with Peso Pluma and Junior H, he was named as “Latin Artist on the Rise” by Billboard in July. Other notable acts include Amilkar Galaviz, Nueva H, Cocho, Herencia LP and Uriel Gaxiola, among others.
“Nir, Manny and the entire team at Interscope are the perfect partners for us to collaborate with to create the best possible opportunities for our artists,” said Cano. “I’m excited to work alongside the team at Interscope to continue to grow the Los CT movement.”
“For the last several years, Natanael Cano has shaped the future of corridos tumbados music with his own work and with the artists he’s signed and nurtured on his label,” said Nir Seroussi, Executive Vice President of Interscope. “We are so grateful that he and Emilio have brought these incredible artists to Interscope. We want to empower them by giving them all the tools they need to expand their audience and build long-term careers.”
“I’m excited to join forces with Nir, Manny, and everyone at Interscope to discover and nurture this new wave of young artists at Los CT,” said Hernandez.
Manny Prado, Interscope West Coast’s Vice President of Marketing and A&R, commented: “Emilio and Nata have built a musical movement that is embodied in Los CT. We’re thrilled to be working with them and this incredible roster of artists.”
