Alfred Liggins III, the company’s president and chief executive officer, allegedly met recently with RNC officials, according to two sources, who asked not to be identified.
The meeting happened just before XM 169 The Power, which is run by the Lanham-based company, cut the shows of black activist Mark Thompson and Ambrose Lane this past July 26.
“No meeting such as that occurred,” said Shannon Reeves, the RNC’s director of state and local development and chairman of its African American Leadership Council.
This makes great business sense, especially looking at the makeup of the federal agencies involved with radio / television and internet.
