Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Country station Kat Country 103 and Classic Rock station 104.1 The Hawk in Modesto/Stockton, CA, joined forces on Wednesday, February 12th and Thursday, February 13th to present two simultaneous radiothons benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. The “Kat Country Cares for St. Jude’s Kids” and “St. Jude Rocks” radiothons brought together the stations’ powerful Country and Classic Rock communities in dual two-day on-air, online, and social media campaigns, raising a combined total of $212,220 in listener donations.

All funds raised from the successful radiothons will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help fight childhood cancer and other diseases.
Founded in 1962 by actor Danny Thomas, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital turned what was then just a 20% childhood cancer survival rate to over 80% in 2025.
Patty Hixson, Regional Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Fresno/Modesto/Stockton, said: “Cumulus Media, Kat Country 103, and 104.1 The Hawk are committed to helping push the childhood cancer survival rate to 100%. We thank our loyal and generous listeners for supporting the fundraising events we present throughout the year, including “The Kat Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Christmas Show,” and these successful radiothons. Together, we can create a world where no child dies from cancer.”
Elizabeth Culp, ALSAC/St. Jude Regional Director of Development, commented, “You all are amazing human beings! Such an honor to get to work with you – Thank you for all you do for the kiddos at St. Jude!”
