Keke Palmer Surprises Fans at BMI Nashville Event (Photos)

Last night, BMI Nashville’s office on Music Row buzzed with excitement as Emmy-winning Keke Palmer celebrated the release of her new visual album, Just Keke. The event, which filled the venue to capacity, featured a mix of fans, music industry executives, and creators, all eager to hear Palmer discuss the album that she fully funded as a personal labor of love.

The evening kicked off with BMI’s Vice President Creative, Nashville, Clay Bradley, offering a warm welcome. Following this, BMI’s Vice President Creative, Atlanta, Catherine Brewton, led an intimate Q&A with Palmer, diving into her career and the creative inspiration behind the project. Palmer was joined by Tayla Parx, the co-producer and co-writer of many tracks on the album, who contributed to the conversation about the positive reception the album has garnered since its release on June 20.

In a surprising twist, Palmer delighted the audience with a live performance of her two standout tracks, “Off Script” and “Misunderstood,” accompanied by Chuck Harmony on keyboard.
