UPDATE: 5/6/2022 – It is widely reported that Kevin Samuels has died. We don’t know if this is true or the cause of his death.
This is the most thorough and honest interview I’ve ever seen Kevin Samuels do. It would’ve been a great interview had DJ Vlad not talked as much as he did. After a while it got confusing as to who was the host and who was the guest.
Charlamagne once told me he hates it when an interviewer makes the interview about himself and that’s what Vlad did in the situation. Kevin Samuels is sitting there and just looking at him while he goes on and on and on and on and on about his views when it comes to relationships.
Kevin Samuels is not only the person that should be being interviewed he is also considered the “expert“. That’s the only thing that made this interview a bit annoying but other than that Samuels comes off pretty transparent about his past and what changed the course of his life which started in college.
He stated when most people are prepared to live their lives and look forward to what’s ahead, his life came to a screeching halt as it was almost the end for him when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in college.
DJ Vlad asked a very odd question when he asked Kevin Samuels what was the outcome of the lymphoma. Obviously, Samuels is still here so that’s a pretty obvious question. Usually DJ Vlad does pretty good interviews but this one was a bit awkward. Perhaps he was nervous or uncomfortable but it would’ve been great to let Kevin Samuels talk more than him and to ask more questions instead of trying to have the answers for Samuels.
