KPRS-FM Presents the 2016 Hot 103 Jamz Music Conference

mc_2016_logo_whiteKPRS-FM, Kansas City’s number one station for Hip Hop and R&B, is hosting the 2016 Hot 103 Jamz Music Conference on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the VooDoo in Harrah’s Casino, 1 Riverboat Drive, North Kansas City, MO. The Hot 103 Jamz Music Conference provides a unique opportunity for artists, booking agents, concert promoters, producers, singers, songwriters and others involved in the music industry to
network with high-level executives in the music profession.

“This is our third conference. Each year, the event gets better and better! We’re excited to have Mathew Knowles, CEO of Music World Entertainment, as one of our special guest speakers. He will share his secrets to success and how he built the careers of Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child. Travis O’Guin, CEO of Strange Music, is a walking music book. His insights and knowledge is impeccable! He’ll share his infinite wisdom on how he built the number one independent music label in the world. I’m confident that our attendees will be supplied with great information about the music industry,” said KPRS-FM Operations Manager, Myron D. Fears.

“We’ve partnered with Kansas City Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants of the Arts, a local organization that specializes in helping artists with business plans, contracts and legal matters. KCVLAA will be present to answer any questions from our attendees. There are two packages to attend the conference. The “Standard Pass” per person for the music conference only is $75 plus a $5.12 service fee. The cost of the “VIP Pass” is $100 plus a $6.49 service fee. Individuals with a “VIP Pass” are entitled to participate in a one-on-one demo critique
session with an industry professional. One demo will be allowed and can be a maximum of 90 seconds in length and must be in either a CD or MP3 player format. A free lunch will be provided to all attendees and panelists. All conference attendees must be 14 and older with proper ID to attend the Hot 103 Jamz Music Conference. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
