The Loss Of Robin Williams: Great Actor, Super Comedian And Talented DJ [VIDEO]

Robin Williams- The DJAs many people around the world are still digesting the news regarding the recent passing of the talented award winning actor comedian Robin Williams, it is only fitting to reminisce about the life of Williams and how he touched the masses with his gift of acting over the decades.  Whether you remember Williams from his debut on television as a cast member of the Richard Pryor Show or in the classic throwback quirky sitcom “Mork & Mindy”  or the many highly acclaimed movies such as: The World According To Garp, Popeye, What Dreams May Come, Dead Poets Society, Mrs. Doubtfire, Patch Adams, Good Will Hunting or perhaps you were a fan of his voice acting in animated films like Aladdin or Happy Feet, there is no doubt that you were impacted by his talent over the years.  One of William’s most widely acclaimed roles, from which he won the Golden Globe Award For Best Actor (*specifically touches home for those in radio), was in the movie Good Morning, Vietnam, where Williams played the role a radio DJ on Armed Forces Radio Service.  Williams perfected the role of a controversial radio dj who gained popularity with his audience (troops) by being a “personality”  and like most authentic radio “personalities” he experienced the backlash from his superiors for his “irreverent tendencies”.   Rest in peace Robin Williams (July 21, 1951 – August 11, 2014)  Great Actor, Great Comedian And Talented DJCheck Out A Clip From GOOD MORNING, VIETNAM below:[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuk8AOjGURE?rel=0&w=420&h=315]
