Overnight Incident in Bronzeville
Chicago police are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight in the Bronzeville neighborhood, resulting in one death and two injuries.
Victims Identified
The shooting took place around 12:30 AM at 45th Street and South Evans. A 35-year-old man was pronounced dead shortly after the incident, having suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Injuries Reported
A 38-year-old man is in critical condition at the University of Chicago Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. A 26-year-old woman was also injured in the shooting.
Evidence Collected
Police found <a href="shell casings on the street and sidewalk, marking at least 20 evidence points. Investigators were examining a parked gray SUV, although its connection to the shooting remains unclear.
