Radio Facts: Contrary to popular belief opioid addiction is an epidemic that affects people from all races. KUDOS to rapper Meek Mill for coming clean about his own addiction as well as taking the first steps to advocate for the voiceless black men caught up in the prison system who need additional legal, mental and health and financial assistance to get a more substantial and fair level of treatment in cities like Philadelphia. Can you imagine if other rappers follow suit? Mill makes reference to how traumatic it was to be locked up and feeling overwhelmed not only by the experience but the aftermath of it.
