A group of middle schoolers were caught on video beating and chasing down a Texas physics teacher. The educator’s arm was broken during the attack.
According to reports, during baseball practice on Thursday, students from Aragon Middle School attacked assistant baseball coach and high school physics teacher Michael Shott. The attack took place at Langham Creek High School in Houston.
Cell phone video posted on social media shows Shott running as fast as possible through the high school parking lot while trying to get away from the students chasing him. Other youngsters could be seen following the attackers, trying to record the incident on their cell phones.
The attackers did catch up to the coach, during one point in the video, and were able to force him to the ground. Shott was able to stand again and run to an area of the parking lot, distancing himself them the middle schoolers.
Peggy Shott, Shott’s mother, told KTRK that her son walked away with a broken arm following the incident.
“He’s doing fine. He’s at home. He has a broken arm, but the kids said that he’s doing what he’s always done, and he’s fine,”
