Celebrating their thirteenth anniversary in broadcast, the nationally syndicated “Café Mocha” radio show produced by Miles Ahead Broadcasting announced today a new advertising sales agreement with Superadio.
This agreement includes national ad sales for the #1 weekend show created by and for ‘women of color’. Affectionately known as ‘radio from a woman’s perspective’, “Café Mocha” joins a prestigious roster of Superadio programs including “Yung Joc & The Streetz Morning Takeover”, “Most Requested Live With Romeo”, “Ebro In The Morning With Laura Stylez & Rosenberg”, “Nessa On Air” and “The Sic 60 With HipHopGamer” just to name a few.
“Cafe Mocha’s’ hosts comedienne and actress Loni Love, hip hop legend YoYo and broadcast veteran Angelique Perrin bring their own distinct ‘point of view’ to today’s issues, social commentary and celebrity interviews with the best backdrop of urban contemporary music.
As a four-time Gracie Award winner, Cafe Mocha airs in eight of Top 10 markets and has become the top-rated UAC show in its weekend time slot with both male and female demographics. Thanks to PPM-friendly features the ‘Espresso’ and ‘Mocha Mix’ they have maintained top market clearances led by New York, NY (WBLSFM), Chicago, IL (WSRB-FM), Washington, DC (WHUR-FM), Atlanta, GA (WAMJ-FM) and Charlotte, NC (WBAV-FM) and Dallas, TX (MAJIC 94.5).
Says creator and executive producer Sheila Eldridge, “From radio, podcasts and events our goal is to deliver to our affiliates a ‘marquee’ program that features high profile celebrity interviews with lifestyle and entertaining conversations to enhance their weekend programming”. “This partnership has us more than excited” says Eric Faison, President, Superadio. “The relationship between Superadio, Miles Ahead Broadcasting and the “Café Mocha” radio show goes back to 2010 when the show was originally launched. Since then, ‘Café Mocha’ has grown into the #1 nationally syndicated radio show for multicultural women and we’re pleased to say that ‘Café Mocha…Radio From A Woman’s Perspective’ is back
home!”
