New Star Wars Rewatch Podcast Featuring the Cast

“Star Wars Rebels,” a 3D animated series, captured the hearts of “Star Wars” fans worldwide. Now, the beloved Ghost Crew returns in podcast form with an exciting rewatch experience.

Join “Star Wars Rebels” alums Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla), Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren) and Taylor Gray (Ezra Bridger) as they go back aboard The Ghost to rewatch and break down every episode. They’ll be joined by actor, filmmaker and devoted Star Wars fan, Jon Lee Brody, who moderates the discussion each week.

Special guests from across the Star Warsuniverse and fandom will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes stories and insights. The podcast also features trivia from “Star Wars” guru and fact-checker, JC Reifenberg.

WHO: Jon Lee Brody is an award winning Korean American actor/filmmaker and one of the hosts of ‘Pod of Rebellion’. Jon is a lifelong fan of all things cinema, especially the Star Wars Universe. Jon, a former college athlete, found his purpose in the world of entertainment after graduating college. Over the years he has held multiple job titles from actor to producer to writer to director and of course podcaster. In 2019, Jon directed ‘DC Universe All Star Games’ making him the first ever Korean American to direct a show for DC Comics. In addition to his career in entertainment, Jon is also a mental health advocate and constantly active in amplifying the voices of the AAPI community. No stranger to the podcast world, Jon also co-hosts the horror podcast ‘That Was Pretty Scary’ with Freddie Prinze Jr. for the Morbid Network. When he’s not working, Jon enjoys relaxing, watching movies, cooking and playing Xbox.

Taylor Gray is a multi-faceted actor, who studied his MA in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Gray is best known for playing the titular role, Bucket, on Nickelodeon’s Bucket & Skinner, trading talents with Kevin Durant in Warner Bros. Thunderstruck, and as the Jedi, Ezra Bridger, on LucasFilm’s Emmy-nominated animated series, “Star Wars Rebels.” He can be seen in the upcoming Columbia Pictures film, Saturday Night, directed by Jason Reitman, playing the former staff writer and politician, Al Franken. While he enjoys working on film and stage, he loves nothing more than a good book or an afternoon surf.

Vanessa Marshall, a Princeton University graduate with a Masters in Acting from NYU, plays Hera in “Star Wars Rebels,” Wonder Woman in “Harley Quinn,” Gamora in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and Black Canary in “Young Justice.” In Video Games, she voices Sheeva in “Mortal Kombat 11,” Olga in “Metal Gear Solid 2,” and Jan Ors in “Star Wars: Jedi Knights II.” As an avid gamer herself, she hosts “#WomenCrushWednesdays on her Twitch channel (@VanessaMarshall1138), where she invites fellow actresses to play the games they voice – always supporting various charities in an effort to “have fun and pay it forward!”  Vanessa also announces TV promos for ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, HGTV, and MTV. She narrates shows for ESPN, Lifetime, E!, TLC, and Tennis Channel. As a stand-up comic and former “plus-size” model, she also created a one-woman show “Got Phat?” – which ran successfully in both LA & NYC.

Tiya Sircar is an Indian-American actress, best known for her roles as Sabine Wren in “Star Wars Rebels,” Vicky/Real Eleanore in “The Good Place,” and Neha Patel in “The Internship.” Her on-camera work also includes “The Afterparty,” “Alex, Inc.,” “Master of None,” “Station Eleven,” and “17 Again.” Her voiceover work includes “The Simpsons,” “Young Justice,” “Spirit Riding Free,” “American Dad!,” and “Mira, Royal Detective.” Her passion for performing arts began at an early age. She started dancing at age 2.5 and acting in community theater at age 7. A proud Longhorn, she attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received a B.F.A. in Theatre & Dance and a B.B.A. in Marketing. In addition to her on-camera and voice acting career, she is an avid traveler, foodie, politics junkie, sports enthusiast, and Jeopardy super-fan.
