2020 has claimed another life. While death his inevitable it seems a bit for tragic this year. Sadly, we have to report that John “Ecstasy” Fletcher of the legendary hip-hop group, Whodini has passed away.
Ecstasy, who was born on June 7, 1964, formed Whodini with Jalil Hutchins in 1982. DJ Grandmaster Dee later joined the group in 1986. Whodini was one of the first rap groups to have a little bit of R&B in their music. With joints like “Friends,” “One Love,” and the “Freaks Come Out at Night” they will forever be legends in the game.
We don’t know the cause of death just yet but several celebrities have already sent out their condolences via social media. We send our sincere condolences to John Fletcher’s family, friends, loved ones, and fans. One Love!
