Paramount+ has announced that production for season two of The Agency: Central Intelligence is now underway in London.
The hit spy thriller stars an impressive cast including two-time Oscar® nominee Michael Fassbender, Oscar nominee Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Andrew Brooke, India Fowler, Reza Brojerdi, Alex Reznik, and Richard Gere.

The Agency: Central Intelligence follows Martian (played by Fassbender), a CIA agent living undercover in his own life. His lover, Samia (Turner-Smith), is a political prisoner in Sudan. Martian is willing to go to any lengths, even crossing lines of treachery, to save her. His only option is to go deeper undercover, walking a knife-edge path to protect love, life, and his mission.
The series is a fresh adaptation of the critically acclaimed French drama Le Bureau des Légendes (The Bureau internationally), created by Eric Rochant. The original series is a Création CANAL+ production by TOP – The Originals Productions and Federation Studios.

Tony® winner Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth (known for Ford v Ferrari and Edge of Tomorrow) return as writers and executive producers for season two.
The series is commissioned by Paramount+ and produced in association with Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. It is co-distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution and Federation Studios. Season one is currently available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
