iHeartMedia announced today that Pedro Javier Gonzalez has been named Senior Vice President of Programming for Miami, effective immediately.
iHeartMedia Miami has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing eight stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company.
As Senior Vice President of Programming, Pedro Javier (“PJ”) will be responsible for programming, social, digital and marketing strategy. He will report to Shari Gonzalez, Market President for iHeartMedia Miami.

PJ has served as Senior Vice President of iHeartLatino since 2018 where he’ll continue in that role. His previous experience includes VP of Content at Univision Radio and VP of Programming for Uno Radio Group Puerto Rico.

PJ replaces Rob Miller who will remain at iHeartMedia as a strategic advisor for the Hot AC format and other projects.
