The theft of more than $22,000 in high-end items by a burglar from Saks Fifth Avenue, Phipps Plaza, is being charged.
Atlanta police reported that they were called to the store by a security guard shortly after 1 a.m. on Thursday. A man wearing all black was seen walking around the store and taking items, and putting them in a suitcase.
Officers began to sweep the men’s section on the second floor of the store.
Police said that they found the burglar in the shoe stockroom during the sweep. He was identified by investigators as Zabare Royale (33). Officers stated that he was able get in through an emergency exit.
Police claimed they found Royale’s luggage and some high-end merchandise worth more than $22,000.
Investigators found that Royale had also a bookbag that contained a wire cutter and a hammer, as well as a screwdriver and other items. Source WSB
