A pregnant woman was tragically murdered, and her case remained unsolved for almost eight years until a joint investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies led to an indictment. The victim, identified as Shaquierra Pinckney, 22, a mother of two young children and four months pregnant, was known to upload photos to an adult website.
After meeting a man off the site, her missing car was found abandoned in St. Johns County, FL. Her body was not inside. When her body was discovered in a graveyard, it was burned beyond recognition.
Graveyard employees preparing a space for an upcoming burial discovered the woman’s badly burned body.
A suspect was finally indicted recently for the woman’s murder in 2015. 42-year-old Lorenzo Hudson.
Hudson’s criminal history included burglary, drug possession, and fleeing from police. He was previously stopped by an officer in 2015 as a possible homicide suspect but was not charged then.
Hudson has now been charged with capital felony murder, capital felony murder of an unborn child, second-degree felony abuse of a dead body, and third-degree tampering with physical evidence.
He has been incarcerated since 2018 and was expected to be released later this year until the new charges came into play. Officials had not determined at presstime when she met Hudson or if he was the father of her unborn child.
