Back in June of this year, President Barack Obama was asked what's different about him now than when her first entered the White House. He said, I know what I'm doing and I'm fearless.” Those words seem to be holding true for the POTUS as he held a White House forum on the criminal justice system yesterday. During the forum, Obama addressed the Black Lives Matter movement and defended what the movement stands for.”I think everybody understands all lives matter,” Mr. Obama said. “I think the reason that the organizers used the phrase ‘Black Lives Matter' was not because they were suggesting nobody else's lives matter. Rather, what they were suggesting was there is a specific problem that's happening in the African-American community that's not happening in other communities. And that is a legitimate issue that we've got to address.”That pretty much says it all and the outrage about Black Lives Matter is utterly ridiculous. When someone says “Save the Whales,” it's not like they are saying f&ck all other sea creatures. When someone says, “Save the Rain Forest” they are not saying all other foliage is irrelevant. With Obama's approval rating at the highest it has been in years, it is trying to make the best of his last moments in office by addressing some serious issues.
