Inland Empire emcee Price did his part to keep fans engaged throughout this release cycle, leading up to his new album, No Sleep in the City – available today on all streaming platforms.
He started things off with a series of back-to-back drops for the month of February, which includes the official audio for “No Sleep in the City” featuring West Coast mainstay G Perico, “On Go” with Dreamville’s Cozz, and “Ted Talk” alongside Top Dawg Entertainment bruiser Ray Vaughn. Beyond his unmatched consistency, it’s important to note that not only did Price self-produce each song, he directed the videos, too.
No Sleep in the City is a 13-track sonic depiction of how Price became who he is today. With exception to three songs (“The Backslide Cypher,” “Stone Mountain” and “Free Me”), the bulk of this project is a collaborative effort amongst contemporaries, enlisting features from RJmrLA, Jay Worthy, Spank Nitti James, Tru Carr, Nana, and more.

On the new album, Price explains:
“The concept, energy and spirit behind creating ‘No Sleep in the City’ was to create an appetizer before the entree. I’m giving the people a soundtrack for the beginning of their 2023 as we go into this next project… I’ma see y’all at the finish line.”
As a newly minted independent artist, the CLRD Entertainment founder is raising the price on lyricism. From co-headlining the Digital Roses Tour with Big K.R.I.T., to his success in the freestyle circuit, it’s evident that he has the intangibles required to thrive as a standalone star in the truest sense.
Not to mention, the esteemed recording artist/songwriter/producer has garnered praise from media outlets like Complex, Revolt, Rap Radar and Billboard – the latter describing Price as a “voracious MC” with a “rapid-fire flow.” Now, as he turns the dial on a new chapter in his evolution as an artist, the West Coast sensation is redefining the music industry on his own terms.
To celebrate the album’s release, Price is gearing up for The Manifestival’s ‘No Sleep Live’ concert at West Hollywood’s The Peppermint Club on March 8.
