Migos’ own  Quavo, Quality Control Music and Motown are teaming up with Marginal Mediaworks and Imagine Kids+Family to create a new, hip animated series for kids.

Though not too many details have been released, the series will be for kids ages 8-12 and will be centered around Atlanta’s hip-hop music music and culture. There are also plans to push consumer products, merchandise, music, and more with the series.Quavo is very optimistic for the future of the upcoming series. “I have long seen how hip-hop music, as well as our music (Migos), really impacts kids,” the rapper said in a statement. “I’ve loved animation my whole life whether on tv or in movies and I wanted my first jump into this premium content world to be a show just for kids. It will definitely reflect the creativity, love, and families in and around the NAWF side of Atlanta where we grew up.”The series will be executive produced by Imagine Entertainment chairman Brian Grazer, Marginal Mediaworks CEO & founder Sanjay Sharma, Imagine Kids+Family president Stephanie Sperber and Quavo himself. Also joining the project as producers are Quality Control Music’s CEO Pierre ‘Pee’ Thomas and COO Kevin ‘Coach K’ Lee, Capitol Music Group’s SVP Brian Nolan and VP Ryan Allingham and Dan Altmann.Imagine Entertainment first invested in Marginal Media in late 2018 with hopes to highlight more underrepresented voices and stories through a variety of mediums. This new show will be a part of that commitment, educating and entertaining young viewers simultaneously.“We have always believed in the power of storytelling that not only entertains but resonates culturally and has the power to effect change at a personal level,” said Grazer. “Atlanta’s music scene is dynamic and partnering with Quavo, one of the biggest breakout artists of our time, has the potential to create a transformative franchise in the kids’ space.”
