Portland, OR, January 14, 2013 –(PR.com)– Reaching Up, the award-winning hit weekly coast-to-coast and international satellite radio music, faith and social justice program will launch its 7th season with a stellar array of guests, a new network and broadcasts on AM and FM stations, pod casts and shows from New York, Seattle, Rome, Dublin, Los Angeles, Berlin, London and Jerusalem.
In-person guests will include Dr. Wess Stafford, CEO of Compassion International, Mississippi civil rights pioneer Hollis Watkins, Saddleback’s Rick and Kay Warren, Haitian Bishop Joel Jeune, Lebanese pastor Faoud Masri, Alpha Cou rse director Nicky Gumbel, Not for Sale co-founder Mark Wexler, Martin Smith of Delirious, Newsboys founder Peter Furler and front man Michael Tait,, Mercy Me, Jars of Clay, authors Dannion Brinkley, Andrew Himes and Timothy Kulek and filmmakers Dan Merchant, David DeSabitino and Austin Vickers and the directors of U.S. UNICEF and Peace Child Israel.
The program, heard on Glorystar, Access America and shortwave and satellite networks around the world is adding broadcasts on AM and FM stations throughout the U.S. and overseas and 5 pod cast series. It is also producing a series of radio psas, available to any station, to fight poverty, AIDS, hunger, violence, trafficking and teen addiction and for the One Heart for Kids initiative..
Also in preparation for later this year is Celebrate Radio, a 24/7 full service coast-to-coast interfaith and social justice satellite network, the world’s first.
