CBS RADIO announced it will provide extensive commentary and analysis across a wide range of over-the-air and digital assets in anticipation of historic SUPER BOWL 50 beginning on Monday, Feb. 1. CBS will exclusively broadcast SUPER BOWL 50 on Sunday, Feb.
- Numerous CBS RADIO sports stations from across the country will broadcast live from “Radio Row,” located at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and feature breaking news reports, athlete and celebrity guest interviews, and commentary on the day’s top stories. CBS Sports Radio, the nation’s largest 24/7 major-market sports radio network heard on more than 315 stations nationwide, will also offer week-long, around-the-clock coverage across multiple platforms.
CBS Local Digital Media will feature a variety of content, including first-hand reporting and exclusive editorial from San Francisco, live blogs and special video features such as the “Best Super Bowl Commercial” and “Fan Essentials: Greatest Super Bowl Plays. ” CBS Local Sports will also launch a special hub, aggregating the best coverage from CBS RADIO stations nationwide. Additionally, CBS RADIO is primed to present its third annual concert event, THE NIGHT BEFORE, on the Saturday prior to the Super Bowl.
Rock legends Metallica will headline this year’s sold-out, one-of-a-kind experience for Bay Area music fans on Feb. 6 at AT&T Park. “This is a special year, not just for our division, but for all of CBS as we join together in celebrating this historic moment in sports,” said Andre Fernandez, President, CBS RADIO.
