In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 is Jay-Z’s second studio album. The star studded album features guest appearances by Foxy Brown, Babyface, Blackstreet, Teddy Riley, Too $hort, Lil’ Kim, and Puff Daddy. A majority of the production is handled by beatmakers from Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy label, giving the album a glossier more commercial sound than its predecessor.

Get Rich or Die Tryin’ is the debut studio from 50 Cent. The album featured production from Dr. Dre and Eminem, and featured guest appearances from Eminem and then-newcomers Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo of the group G-Unit.
The album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 872,000 copies in its first week. It spawned four singles, including the number 1-hits “In da Club” and “21 Questions”, and the international single “P.I.M.P.” Get Rich or Die Tryin’ had sold 8 million copies in the United States and was certified 6 times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

UMe’s “Respect the Classics” campaign continues to reissue classic out of print hip-hop albums back on vinyl for the first time in years, with cool modern twists like 3D Lenticular covers, picture discs, metallic treatments, updated artwork, colored vinyl and more.
Respect The Classics launched last September with five Priority Records classics, including expanded CD and digital 25th Anniversary Editions of Eazy-E’s triple platinum solo debut, Eazy-Duz-It and EPMD’s chart-topping album, Strictly Business. It’s Dark & Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Heart, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart within seven months of each other, were released on gold vinyl and blood-splattered vinyl, respectively.
