Jennifer Hernandez, a 20-year-old Houston woman who was 8 months pregnant was killed in the passenger seat of her 17-year-old boyfriend’s car at a Shell gas station during a road rage incident. This was a drive-by shooting.
She was shot in the face after the assailant shot at the car 7 times. Her unborn son did not survive. Her boyfriend was also shot but survived. She was supposed to have a baby shower the next day.
A witness told authorities that at the time of the shooting the boyfriend was wearing a ski mask. He told authorities he was wearing the ski mask for COVID reasons.
