CBS RADIO station WCBS-FM 101.1 today announced it has signed acclaimed broadcaster Scott Shannon to a new multi-year contract, extending the popular host’s run as the anchor of morning drive. Launched March 2014, “Scott Shannon in the Morning” is broadcast weekdays from 6:00-10:00AM, ET.
Scott’s wake-up team includes co-host Patty Steele, Joe Nolan with all the latest traffic information for morning commuters, and weather reports provided by CBS 2 New York’s John Elliott. Since the show’s debut, the station’s weekly cume has grown nearly 20% to approximately four million listeners.
