DEXTER: RESURRECTION is set to premiere with a two-episode debut on Friday, July 11 for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan. The linear premiere will follow on Sunday, July 13 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. New episodes will be released weekly.

Internationally, the series will launch exclusively on Paramount+ in key markets including Canada, the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

The series is a continuation of DEXTER®: NEW BLOOD and picks up just weeks after the explosive finale where Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is shot by his son, Harrison (Jack Alcott). Awakening from a coma, Dexter discovers Harrison has vanished without a trace.

Struggling with guilt and driven by the need for redemption, Dexter heads to New York City to find his son and attempt to repair their fractured relationship. However, his past is not far behind. When Miami Metro’s Angel Batista (David Zayas) arrives with pressing questions, Dexter realizes that escaping his past won’t be easy. As both father and son face their internal demons, they must navigate the shadows of the city in a desperate search for reconciliation, all while danger looms ever closer.

Michael C. Hall returns to lead the cast, joined by an ensemble that includes Uma Thurman as Charley, David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera, James Remar reprising his role as Dexter’s adoptive father Harry Morgan, and Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater. Guest stars this season will include Neil Patrick Harris as Lowell, Krysten Ritter as Mia, Eric Stonestreet as Al, and David Dastmalchian as Gareth.

The series is created and executive produced by Emmy® nominee Clyde Phillips (DEXTER, DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, NURSE JACKIE), who also returns as showrunner. Michael C. Hall, Scott Reynolds (Jessica Jones), Tony Hernandez (Emily in Paris), Lilly Burns (Russian Doll), and Marcos Siega (DEXTER: NEW BLOOD) also serve as executive producers.

Monica Raymund (DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN) is set to direct four of the season’s episodes, while Marcos Siega will direct six. The series is produced by SHOWTIME Studios and Counterpart Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

This new installment follows the recent success of DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, the prequel series starring Patrick Gibson as a younger Dexter. That series, which debuted in December, became the most-streamed SHOWTIME premiere ever, drawing more than 2.1 million global viewers and is now available to stream on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.
