Police are investigating the death of Javier Osorio Mejia, a well-known sneaker reseller, who was shot multiple times outside a row of luxury stores in SoHo. Mejia, better known as Upscale Crack, was a 31-year-old entrepreneur deeply rooted in the sneaker community.
Details of the Shooting
The shooting occurred at around 5:15 a.m. while Mejia was driving his Range Rover down Green Street. He was shot three times in the right leg and subsequently rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he later died.
