Sony Music Publishing and its songwriters and composers were recognized for their accomplishments across pop music at BMI’s 72nd Annual Pop Awards, held on June 4 in Beverly Hills, CA.
Sony Music Publishing was named BMI’s Pop Publi<a href="sher of the Year for the seventh consecutive year with thirty-four of the past year’s most performed pop songs in the U.S. including SZA’s “Kill Bill,” co-written by Rob Bisel, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night,” co-written by Charlie Handsome and more. Additionally, Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” was named Song of the Year.
