President & CEO, Latin America and US Latin, Sony Music Publishing Jorge Mejia said, “With writers from all over the world present, plus the participation of several Sony divisions, The BeatStars camp was a great example of what only Sony Music Publishing as a global company and as part of the One Sony ecosystem can do.

We look forward to listening to some of the great releases created at this camp, and to further collaborating with our Sony sister companies in future!”

This camp highlights the reach we offer as a global company, and BeatStars as a key resource to creatives everywhere. We are proud of the turnout as these camps continue to grow bigger and better, and we are excited to hear the results.”

As the exclusive supporting partner of the second annual SMP x BeatStars Hitmaker Week, Meta hosted ‘Meta Loves Music – Facebook and Instagram for Songwriters & Producers,’ an educational session which informed attendees on Reels best practices, new features, general music product updates and more to help them build community, connect with fans and share their music.

Several attendees sat down with Meta at the event for a series of #SongwritersonReels interviews, where they shared their experiences at Hitmaker Week and discussed their latest creative endeavors.

Alexa Cabellon, Head of North America Music Publishing Partnerships, Meta said, “Our partnership with Hitmaker Week demonstrates the unique value that Meta brings to support songwriters, producers, and artists around the world.

By providing best practice education, content production showcasing songwriters and artists, and cutting-edge product experiences, we empower creators to share their stories, connect, and grow their communities through music on our platforms. We look forward to deepening our collaboration with SMP in the future.”

Sony Music Publishing highlighted its commitment to empowering creators and advancing collaboration across Sony through its Hitmakers Week activation with Sony Electronics and its brands For The Music and Sony Alpha.

With the activation, Sony Electronics hosted a 360 Reality Audio workshop for attendees, provided audio equipment, including professional headphones and mics, for the studios and shared spaces, captured content with Sony Alpha cameras, and supplied talent with Sony’s MDR-MV1 studio headphones, WH-1000X noise canceling headphones and LinkBuds S noise canceling earbuds to further enhance the songwriting process and support the creators’ vision.
