The Spice Girls revealed today (Nov. 5) on the group’s Twitter page that they are reuniting and going on tour. This is their first tour in almost a decade. It is a short tour, having only six shows, and will only be taking place in the United Kingdom.
In the group’s announcement, the girls recorded a funny new broadcasting skit as the playfully argued about the outfits they wore.

The tour will only include four of the girls: Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton. Victoria Beckham will not be joining the tour. Beckham will be staying behind to focus on her fashion line.
Beckham did, however, release a post on her Instagram page expressing her love for the group and fans and wishing the girls nothing but luck on the tour.
This is the second time the group will have toured with four members. The first time was in 1998 when Halliwell departed from the group.
The girl group will be starting the tour at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 1st. They will also be performing at Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, and Bristol. The tour will finish at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The Spice Girls’ debut single “Wannabe” topped charts in 37 countries in 1996. The countries included the UK, US, and Germany. Their debut album Spice became the best-selling album of all time by a female group, selling more than 23 million copies worldwide.
Jess Glynne will be joining the tour as a special guess.
Tickets will be on sale this Saturday, Nov. 10.
