Incident Details
Lilo Gudmundson reported that her family’s Kia, which they had parked in a downtown lot for $73 while attending Summerfest, was stolen on Saturday night. Upon returning to the lot, they discovered the car missing and began searching for it, but to no avail.
Discovery of the Stolen Car
Approximately 36 hours after the theft, police contacted Gudmundson and her mother to inform them that the car had been found. Unfortunately, the car had already caused significant damage by crashing into the home.

Gudmundson expressed her concern for the homeowners, stating that while her family was dealing with the theft, the incident had now adversely affected another family. She highlighted the broader issue of reckless driving, emphasizing the potential for serious harm.
Current Status
No injuries were reported from the crash, including the individuals inside the stolen Kia, who fled the scene. Witnesses mentioned seeing two young men running from the cra<a href="shed vehicle on Richards Street. As of now, the police have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
