Anyone who has heard Jasmine Chess dj can tell that dj and vintage connoisseur’s passion for performing is by no means a mistake. Her roots are thick in the entertainment industry, tracing back to her grandfather, Leonard Chess, who founded Chess Records in 1950 and discovered such talents as Muddy Waters, Etta James and Chuck Berry.
In the 1970’s the torch was passed on to her father, who took the reigns and founded The Rolling Stones record label spawning a notably psychedelic era in music.
