CLASS OF 2024 REACTIONS:

310babii

Platinum “SOAK CITY (DO IT)” via High IQ/Empire label

“I’m so honored to be joining the RIAA’s Class Of ’24. Gold. Oh my god it’s so crazy to even say that! I started writing songs when I was nine years old, and all I really used to dream about back then was playing songs for people that needed to hear them. I didn’t even realize what a Gold record was until I learned that most of the songs that made me the artist and songwriter that I am have been certified. And I’m just beyond honored to be joining a group of artists and storytellers who have somehow been able to connect with people all over the world through the gift of song. It’s beyond an honor thank you guys so much. I’m so grateful!”

Alana Springsteen

Gold “GOODBYE LOOKS GOOD ON YOU (feat. Mitchell Tenpenny) via Columbia

Dasha

FloyyMenor

“We are very, very excited to be a part of the RIAA’s Class Of ’24. It’s crazy, we’re in the Platinum club! If you’d said to us a year ago when the band didn’t even exist, we’d have probably laughed in your face, so it feels unreal. We’re very excited to see what the future holds. Next year is gonna be very exciting – finishing the album right now so hopefully delivering lots more Platinum, Platinum, Platinum stuff to you guys. Thank you!”

Oli Fox of Good Neighbours

Platinum “HOME” via Capitol Music Group / Capitol Records

“Being a part of the RIAA Class Of 2024 feels so elating to me because I feel like a lot of things I’ve worked for in the past year – and since I’ve started doing music professionally – are finally coming to fruition. My first Gold certification was so surprising to me, because I felt like, damn I’ve worked for this moment. This is a pillar of my career that I feel like I’m never going to forget and just knowing that all my fans and all my supporters are so tuned into my songs that I’ve gotten the gift of having two Gold records this year, it’s just amazing to me. I lowkey cried when I found out because I worked for it, and I know I deserve it, but sometimes when you get the things you deserve it makes you emotional.”

Lay Bankz

Gold “ICK” and “TELL UR GIRLFRIEND” via Artist Partner Group

To me it symbolizes the community that me and the people that support my music have been able to build over the past year, and I hope it continues. I’m excited for everything that’s to come! Hopefully ‘Belong Together’ is the first of many Platinum songs that I put out. Thank you so much!!”

Tucker Wetmore

“I’m beyond honored to join RIAA’s Class Of 2024. It means more than I can put into words to be a part of the Gold & Platinum program. When you’re in an industry like this, you learn to put these incremental goals together and you have these small steps that you’re looking forward to taking and celebrating. But a Gold record or Platinum record is something everyone knows about, whether you’re in the industry or not. You get these people that just meet you after seeing a show saying, ‘Man, you sounded so great. You’re gonna have Gold records one day. You’re gonna have Platinum records one day.’ It’s just something that everyone is aware of, and to finally be a part of that and have that be a part of my journey. a goal that I have reached and will hopefully reach multiple times, I can’t put it into words. Thank y’all so much … I’m so excited!”
