Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), a brilliant problem-solver, finds himself drawn into a dangerous mystery when an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message: “Find the accountant.” Determined to uncover the truth, Wolff realizes he must take extreme action and enlists his estranged but deadly brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal), for help.
Teaming up with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they unravel a deadly conspiracy. As they get closer to the truth, they become prime targets of a relentless network of killers determined to keep their secrets hidden.
