On a rainy Thursday evening, February 13th, 2025, NEON hosted the Red Carpet Premiere for the highly anticipated horror film THE MONKEY, from writer/director Osgood Perkins (LONGLEGS) at Immanuel Presbyterian Church.
Perkins was joined by his cast Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Sarah Levy, Colin O’Brien, Christian Convery, and Rohan Campbell. They were also joined by visionary producer James Wan along with fellow producers Peter and Natalia Safran, Chris Ferguson, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Dave Caplan.
GET OUT director Jordan Peele and actor Gabriel LaBelle were among the notable guests at the event yesterday evening. Attendees were treated to a unique screening of the horror film inside the church complete with a funeral procession band.
Following the premiere screening, guests continued the celebration at Breakroom 86 at The Line Hotel where attendees raved about the film as a crowd pleaser filled with wild humor and the bloodiest kills of any horror film this year.
THE MONKEY is in theaters nationwide starting Friday, February 21.
