The Rickey Smiley Morning Show said Wendy Williams would be missed. Gary With Da Tea said the lights dimmed on the Wendy Williams show. After 13 seasons, Williams had completed her final episode. The series ended with a video tribute to the iconic host.

The statement read: “The series comes to an end after 13 successful years in syndication.”

Gary said Williams, 57, will not make an appearance on her show. Page Six exclusively reported in May that her show had tried to figure out a way to bring the star back for the finale. Many people wanted to bring Williams back; many mid, and low-level producers signed up for the job because of Williams, Gary Added.

“I’m just grateful for the opportunity allowing me to just to grace your presence and be on your fabulous show. We love you, and we appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you,” said Smiley.

Smiley said that Williams was always lovable and respectful.

The Wendy Williams show will be replaced by a brand new series hosted by Sherri Shepherd, which will premiere in the fall.

“It is my lifelong dream to have my own show, and it is finally happening,” said Shepherd.
