The Steve Harvey Morning Show says R Kelly can survive off $500 after the government seized more than $28,000 from his prison account. Prosecutors have asked the court to take over $28,000 from R Kelly’s prison account because he has unpaid court order fines totaling $140,000, said Shirley Strawberry.
In a letter obtained by the government from the Bureau of prisons, R Kelly has accumulated substantial funds in his inmate trust account, which is used to purchase food and other necessities from the prison commissary, said Strawberry.
As of August 3rd, R Kelly had over $28,000 in his account, and the Bureau of prisons restrained his funds at the government’s request and left him with $500. Strawberry said R Kelly would have to make it off the $500 because he has court-ordered fines that he has to pay. Steve Harvey said it is possible to survive off that money.
Steve Harvey said R Kelly would have to take his funds and get someone to cut a deal with him. Harvey said R Kelly is going to make a deal with someone and get a percentage of the money sent to that person and work things out that way. The morning show also said the money could go to the victims of R Kelly.
