Today Universal Music Group announced a series of executive management appointments in its Global Classics and Jazz Division. The division has had a highly profitable year, with successful releases from Max Richter, Andrea Bocelli, John Coltrane, and others.Holly Adams has been named Head of Soundtrack and Score, Global Classics and Jazz and Globe UK. Her prior role saw Adams overseeing the acquisition and marketing for a number of significant soundtracks, including Desplat’s ‘The Shape of Water’ and Morricone’s ‘The Hateful Eight’.Rachel Tregenza joins Feb. 4th as Head of International Communications and Artist Strategy, Global Classics and Jazz. She had spent 5 years prior at Decca.Anja Boenicke joins as Head of Artist and Brand Partnerships, Global Classics and Jazz starting April 1. Her prior role with Deutsche Grammophon saw her facilitate the operations of DG120, the label’s 120th-anniversary celebration.Division president Dickon Stainer said of the new appointments:“These new appointments represent an exciting evolution within our business and offer new opportunities to our labels and artists.
