Several sites have premiered on FB honoring the legacy of the Black radio and music industry. This picture came up today (credit to Gregg Diggs) of how Black radio once enjoyed several weekly must-read trade publications spotlighting and showcasing Black industry executives. Some of the greatest Black industry trades were/are:
- Jack the Rapper (Granddaddy of all Urban Trades and Music Conferences, unfortunate crash in the early 90s)
- BRE (still producing)
- Rhythm and Business Magazine (ceased production)
- Impact (ceased production)
- Urban Network (unsure of current production)
- TheIndustry.biz (converted to a blog in 2003)
