Virginia Boy Behind 20 Swatting Calls, Facing Serious Charges (Video)

Arrest and Investigation

An 11-year-old boy from Virginia has been arrested and accused of making over 20 swatting calls. These calls were made between May 14th and May 22nd, and included fake bomb threats, mass shootings, and other acts of violence.

Impact on Schools

The calls caused significant disruptions, with multiple schools in Flagler County being locked down each time a threat was made. These incidents instilled fear among students, teachers, and parents, leading many to keep their children at home.

Law Enforcement Response

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the FBI and several search warrants, tracked down the suspect in Virginia. They discovered disturbing materials in his home, including videos of pet torture, decapitation, and murder.

The boy is currently being held in a juvenile facility in Virginia and efforts are underway to extradite him to Florida to face charges. The authorities are working to determine the specific charges he will face.

Wider Investigation

In addition to the calls in Flagler County, the boy is believed to have made fake calls across the country, including Alabama, Alaska, and the Maryland State House. A 13-year-old from Volusia County was also arrested in connection with a swatting investigation back in May.
