The Hollywood American Legion Theater, A24 hosted the Los Angeles World Premiere of Warfare; a film written and directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland, and starring D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, Henrique Zaga with Joseph Quinn and Charles Melton.
A Q&A followed the screening with Filmmakers Alex Garland and U.S. Navy SEAL Ray Mendoza, Actors D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai and Charles Melton, U.S. Army Infantry soldier Jeff Craft, and U.S. Navy SEALs Joe Hildebrand and Elliott Miller, moderated by Karen Kraft from Veterans in Media and Entertainment.
The audience was comprised of hundreds of veterans and members of the military community; with representation from partners including Veterans In Media And Entertainment, Navy Seal Foundation, Warrior Heritage Foundation, Team Rubicon, Team RWB, Writers Guild Foundation – Veterans Writing Program, Screen Actors Guild Veterans Committee, the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Space Force.
