Gospel music icon Kirk Franklin has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Insignia Assets, a dynamic, Black-owned entertainment company co-founded by Norman Gyamfi and Jonathan Jay. This collaboration merges Franklin’s companies—Fo Yo Soul Recordings and CLTRE Lab—with Insignia’s diverse media portfolio, which spans recorded music, publishing, television, film, touring, and live events.

As part of the deal, Franklin has also been appointed Chief of Creative Services at Insignia Assets, where he will oversee creative direction and innovation across the company's ventures.
“This partnership with Insignia is bigger than business,” Franklin shared. “It’s about building a platform where our stories, our faith, and our culture can live and breathe across every screen and stage. I’ve always believed in pushing Gospel beyond the margins… Joining forces with Insignia gives us the reach, the resources, and the creative freedom to do just that.”
Upcoming Projects and Launches
The partnership will launch with the release of Franklin’s new single, “Do It Again,” dropping on June 6. Additionally, his media company, CLTRE Lab, will team up with Insignia’s 3 Diamonds Entertainment to produce a new dinner conversation series titled Den of Kings, hosted by Franklin. The show’s first episode, themed around Fatherhood, features guests D.C. Young Fly, Kountry Wayne, Lou Young, and Devale Ellis, and will premiere on Franklin’s YouTube channel on Father’s Day, June 15.
Under the agreement, 3 Diamonds Entertainment will serve as the production partner on selected CLTRE Lab projects, offering funding and production services to bring original scripted and unscripted content to life across multiple platforms.
