Sony Music Publishing was honored at the 2025 ASCAP Pop Music Awards, held on May 1 in Los Angeles, where it was named Pop Publisher of the Year for the ninth time. This prestigious recognition comes after SMP songwriters contributed to twenty-eight of the past year’s top-performing pop songs.
Notable winning songs included “Stargazing” (Myles Smith), “Good Luck, Babe!” (Chappell Roan, Dan Nigro), “Not Like Us” (Mustard), “I Am Not Okay” (Ashley Gorley), “Texas Hold ‘Em” (Beyoncé, Nate Ferraro, Killah B), “Made for Me” (Jermaine Dupri), and “Stick Season” (Noah Kahan), among others.
The honored songwriters included Ashley Gorley, BNYX, Beyoncé, Chappell Roan, Jermaine Dupri, Olivia Rodrigo, Mustard, Noah Kahan, and many more.
